Abstract

The article considerss the peculiarities of international business tourism as a specific type of tourism that does not depend on the season, it is predictable and massive, oriented towards the consumption of high-quality services, as well as a wide range of additional services. Despite the sufficient resource potential in the field of international business tourism, problems arise in Ukraine with insufficient international positioning and the absence of an effective strategy for its promotion as a destination attractive for this type of tourism. Accordingly, the analysis of the place and role of business tourism in terms of reviving the tourism sector of Ukraine in the post-war period is considered relevant and requires significant attention. The purpose of this article is to study the role of international business tourism as a factor in the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian tourism industry. The trends of international business tourism development in the world over the last decades and its costs are analyzed, its role and place in the modern business community are determined. The experience of pandemic restrictions, which have become a global challenge for the tourism industry, and measures for a successful exit from the crisis, which can serve as a basis of systemic provisions formation for the transformation of Ukraine into a tourist attractive country due to the involvement of foreign consumers, are summarized. The problem points of the tourism industry in general and international business tourism in particular are determined. It has been proven that the modern industry of business tourism stimulates the activity of many related sectors of the economy and ensures the growth of profitability of the country’s economy. Measures of international business tourism development as a tool for the revival of the country after the end of the military invasion are proposed.
