Scientific approaches systematization to the classification of enterprises business models

Abstract

The article considers the diversity of business models grouped according to certain criteria. The critical analysis is held and the essence and classification approaches to business models is revealed based on distribution: of the scale of investment and the degree of openness of the business model; according to the criteria such as the construction of value chain, market power innovators in comparison with owners of complementary assets and potential revenue generation; by the degree of market presence and the newness of the technology; by function; depending on the type of assets involved in the business and the rights to the assets to be sold; based profit model; sectoral approach. The results provide a basis for studying the formation of laws, development and transformation of the business models of enterprises. Systematization of the classification approaches to business models is suggested.
