Abstract

The article reveals the essence necessity and importance of the enterprise marketing activities regarding future changes in the market, that determine the trend in the development of needs for this type of product, its price variation and sales volume opportunities considering the potential market size. The article analyzes current views of planning processes. The method of the potential market size calculation is also given. The author calculates the potential market size of sunflower oil in Odessa region, taking into consideration future changes of population, income growth and prices increase.
