Abstract

The article is devoted to development of theoretical and methodological support for the formation of favorable investment attractiveness of the region to ensure sustainable development. Factors are defined and parameters system is substantiated that affect the degree of investment attractiveness of the region. The reasons of low investment activity in the regions of Ukraine, the factors that hinder the investment process are examined; the directions of investment policy at the present stage of economic development are formulated. The list of the most important regional and national factors that positively affect the investment environment in the region is proposed. Methodological approaches and parameters determining investment attractiveness of regions of Ukraine are analyzed. Information on the level of investment attractiveness of the Poltava region is systematized.
