Intermediation: transactional approach

Abstract

The article analyses intermediation on the basis of transactional approach. The definitions of a transaction as the basic level of the intermediation process have been researched. It is considered, that the intermediation process consists of more than one transaction. It was proved that five intermediary types mediate different resources such as information, products, services, capital and human resource, which fulfill their functions in the mediation process. The author argues that coordination and integration of efforts and resources of participants of transactions should be fulfilled by the intermediary.
