Abstract

The article describes the competitiveness of the industry of the tourism as a branch in general and separately as an enterprise of the tourism services market. The specific features of the market are marked. An overview of categories and concepts on the subject is presented, the need of the marking difference between the competitiveness of the branch, enterprise and product and their interdependence are proved. The definition of the concept of the competitiveness of the tourism branch depending on object of research is improved. Methodical tools of an assessment of level of the competitiveness are examined and the main approaches to the definition of the competitiveness of enterprises of the market of the tourism services are ordered.
